Trained as a clinical social worker, I turned to photography while raising my children. I have spent much of the past decade working on several long-term, collaborative portrait projects, most of them with women who are misunderstood, or live outside of society’s norms. Over the past few years, in a shift from my previous work, I've focused my camera on my own life, rather than on the lives of others.
